YOGA THERAPY Chakra Sessions: 1) Chakra Balancing and Healing (approximately 1 hour) 2) Chakra Evaluation (approximately 1/2 hour)
1. Chakra Balancing and Healing is a process in which I assess each chakra's energy and vibrancy using a crystal pendulum. Based on what I find the condition of your chakras to be, I will help you choose the one that feels most important for you to work on at the time. Once that chakra is chosen, I lead you through a series of questions to discover what's behind the imbalance in the chakra. This is a very fluid and intuitive approach that unfolds organically. It is a very deep healing process.

2. Chakra Evaluation involves the first part of the Chakra Balancing and Healing treatment. Using my crystal pendulum, I assess each of your chakra's energy and vibration. I will then tell you my findings with a brief explanation. This gives you the option to decide if you want to work on your healing yourself or you can choose to work with me in a Chakra Balancing and Healing session. Appointments are between or after classes at the studio, or other location. YOGA One of the most important aspects of practicing yoga for me is the notion that we honor our bodies and ourselves by developing feelings of compassion for ourselves as well as others! Cultivating presence and a non-judgemental attitude towards ourselves within our practice of yoga can help us to take that attitude with us when we get off our mats and are back interacting in the world around us!
I am an ECYT 700 hour Certified Pranotthan/Kripalu Yoga Teacher, having graduated my 200 hour training at Kripalu in Stockbridge, Mass., another 200 hour Pranotthan Yoga training at Omega, Rhinebeck, NY and a 300 hour Sacred Lasya Vinyasa training in Kerala, India. I am an Acharya, having graduated the Acharya Intensive 1 1/4 year program with Devarshi Steven Hartman and Jovinna Chan.
Classes: I teach all levels of yoga, from beginner to vigorous classes. In all my classes, I create a safe and nurturing environment where I stress the importance of alignment and using and building "core strength" while leading a slow flow to great music. Classes include centering, warmups, postures and a guided final relaxation. You will leave my classes feeling relaxed, renewed and revitalized, all at the same time!!
